"The magic is back:" Packers fans flock to Arizona ahead of playoff game

GREEN BAY -- Despite the Cardinals limiting ticket sales to people with Arizona zip codes, you can expect to see a good amount of fans in Green and Gold at Saturday's playoff game in Arizona. And this isn't the only game on their minds!

Between the fans flying out of Green Bay and those flying out of Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, Event USA, which is the official game package company for the Green Bay Packers, estimates they have booked about 250 people to fly to Arizona.

No need for sweatshirts, John Lewandowski and Jane Check are leaving the cold and headed to Glendale, Arizona.

"Looking forward to the 63 degrees it is supposed to be tomorrow," said John Lewandowski.

But most importantly...

"See the Packers hopefully win," said Lewandowski.

And this trip out of Austin Straubel Airport is special.

"I have never, this is the first time ever I have been somewhere to see a Packers game and a playoff game, "said Jane Check.

They booked a packaged deal through Event USA.

"The magic is back," said Event USA Tour OP Manager, Nanci Denissen.

Some fans are already thinking about traveling to California to see the Packers in the Super Bowl. Those packages go on sale Monday if the Packers win Saturday.

"Last time we had the possibility of being in the Super Bowl we had already sold out eight full aircrafts before we knew we were actually in it, " said Denissen.

"Hopefully we come away with a win and come back much happier," said Lewandowski.

Event USA says a one night package for Arizona with game and tailgate tickets, transportation and hotel is $549 a person, plus airfare.

If the Packers win Saturday, NFC Championship game packages would go on sale immediately.

The Green Bay Packers will square off against the Arizona Cardinals at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Kickoff is set for 7:15 p.m.

The Packers last faced the Cardinals on December 27th in the desert. The Packers lost the game, 38-8.
