MILWAUKEE — A development including apartments and retail space is proposed for Milwaukee’s south side.

Local developer Brandon Rule is eyeing a location at 7th and National.

The project would have 56 apartments, 47 of which would be reserved for low income residents.

He applied for WHEDA low-income housing tax credit to finance the development.

If Rule is awarded credit, the project could get underway later this year.
