Police say, a man in November stole $75 from a photo booth in Batavia, Illinois.

BATAVIA, Illinois — It’s pretty risky to rob a place that has a camera pointed right at you.

Sure, we often see footage of suspects shot at convenience stores or banks, but we never get as good a look at them as we might if they stole from a photo booth.

That’s exactly what happened to a man in November who police say stole $75 from a photo booth in Batavia, Illinois.

The camera was snapping away as he took the money, but the photos couldn’t be retrieved from the booth until last week, according to CNN affiliate WBBM.

The Batavia Police posted the photos on Facebook in hopes that someone might be able to identify the suspect.

Anyone with information on the suspect is encouraged to call the department at 630-454-2500.
