MILWAUKEE — Love bacon? The 5th annual BACONFEST MILWAUKEE event takes place on Valentine’s Day Sunday, February 14th at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino!

The event is presented by Patrick Cudahy and sponsored by 102.9 THE HOG.

It takes place at the Event Center inside Potawatomi.

Bacon lovers will have the chance to devour unique bacon creations, along with some classic favorites prepared by some of southeastern Wisconsin’s best chefs and restaurants.

This year’s BACONFEST MILWAUKEE event will be an “official qualifying event” of the “World Food Championships.”

Select restaurants will be competing to earn a “Golden Ticket” to participate at the World Food Championships in the World Burger Championship in November. The winner will take home $100,000!

According to BACONFESTMKE.com, VIP tickets for the event are sold out, as are tickets for “1st Shift,” where folks can enter at noon. Tickets are still available for “2nd Shift,” where folks can enter at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $35, and a ticket includes a $15 Potawatomi Fire Keeper’s reward play certificate, bacon sampling, bacon eating, bacon tasting, a BACONFEST MILWAUKEE apron, a BACONFEST MILWAUKEE oven mitt and a chance to win over 100 pounds of Patrick Cudahy bacon!
