Racine police investigate report of shots fired on Blake Avenue near Albert Street

RACINE — Racine police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred Tuesday night, February 16th near Blake Avenue and Albert Street. The call came in around 9:30 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene they discovered that the rear of a home in the area had been struck by projectiles. Officers searched the area for additional evidence, and conducted a neighborhood canvas for possible witnesses.

No injuries were reported.

Racine Police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this crime. Any witnesses, or citizens with information, are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756.
