Walk-in for public schools: Students, parents, teachers in Milwaukee, 39 other cities take part

MILWAUKEE -- Students, parents and teachers at schools across Milwaukee staged a walk-in on Wednesday morning, February 17th.

The walk-in was in protest of budget cuts to public schools and what some say is an "attempt to privatize" the schools.

Protesters said they would break up while inside the schools so that students could go to class.

Besides Milwaukee, 39 other cities across the country held walk-ins.
