Wisconsin State Fair to host "I Love the 90s Tour," Pat Benatar, Melissa Etheridge, Beach Boys

WEST ALLIS -- Wisconsin State Fair officials announced on Monday, February 22nd three more shows slated for the Main Stage presented by Potawatomi Hotel & Casino during this year’s Fair.

Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo and Melissa Etheridge will take the Main Stage on Thursday, Aug. 11 at 7:30 p.m. This co-headlining show will feature Grammy- and Oscar-winning Etheridge, along with four-time Grammy-winning Benatar, performing with her long-time band mate and husband Giraldo. Fans can expect a night of hits including Etheridge’s “Ain’t It Heavy” and “I’m the Only One,” as well as Benatar’s chart topping “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” and “Love Is
a Battlefield.” Tickets will be $39 and $29.

Salt-N-Pepa is back! They’ll be joined by Color Me Badd, Coolio and Rob Base, as part of the I Love the 90’s Tour on Friday, Aug. 12 at 7 p.m. Female hip-hop trio Salt-N-Pepa rose to stardom after their single, “Push It,” went platinum, and their popularity continued through the ‘90s with hits like “Shoop” and Grammy-winning “None of your Business.”

This star-studded tour also includes the R&B group Color Me Badd, known for “All 4 Love,” among other hits, Grammy award winning rapper Coolio, best known for his hit singles “Fantastic Voyage,” and “Gangsta’s Paradise,” and hip-hop artist Rob Base, recognized for his hits, “It Takes Two” and “Get on the Dance Floor.” Tickets for I Love the 90’s are $39 and $29.

The Main Stage will be “Fun, Fun, Fun” on the final night of the fair when the Beach Boys take the stage. Following their 50th Anniversary Tour in 2012, the legendary music of the Beach Boys will live on as classics like “Good Vibrations” and “Surfin’ Safari” are revisited on Sunday, Aug. 14 at 6 p.m. Tickets for the show are $39 and $29.

All three shows go on sale on this Friday, Feb. 26 at 9 a.m. at WiStateFair.com and the Fair Ticket Office. All tickets, both track and grandstand, will be reserved for all three shows. Print-at-home and mail-order option available online, and service fees will apply. The Ticket Office is located at 7722 W. Greenfield Ave. in West Allis and is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All Main Stage tickets INCLUDE FAIR ADMISSION when purchased prior to entering
the Fair Park.

The Wisconsin State Fair will run Thursday, Aug. 4 through Sunday, Aug. 14 at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis.
