Drivers take note: More changes are coming to the Zoo Interchange

MILWAUKEE -- Changes are coming to the Zoo Interchange. Ryan Luck with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation joins FOX6 WakeUp to talk about everything that is going to impact your commute.

Zoo Interchange Project:

Monday (2/29) overnight the I-94 East ramp to 84th Street will close and 84th Street lane closure will shift to the east side.
there will be a long-term full closure 10pm through early June 2016 I-94 EB exit ramp to 84th St for roadway construction.

A reminder that the lane reduction on I-94 East from Sunny Slope to WIS 100 will begin overnight on 3/4.

    Other area projects:

Beginning Monday, Feb. 29, Dousman Road and Golden Lake Road will be closed for work on the bridge project at I-94. The roads will be fully closed to facilitate construction of the bridges through the summer.

Dousman Road is scheduled to close the week of Feb. 29; Golden Lake Road is scheduled to be fully closed the week
    of March 7.

A rehabilitation project of 14 bridges on I-94 from County P to County F, in Waukesha County. Roughly 12-mile project is scheduled to begin March.

Crews will be utilizing shoulder and median widening at most bridges to accommodate traffic needs while the structure work is being performed. Two lanes of freeway traffic will be maintained during peak times. No freeway closures are planned for this project. Night work will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction, at times.
