Funeral services set for Brookfield firefighter/paramedic who lost battle with cancer

BROOKFIELD -- Funeral services have been set for a Brookfield firefighter/paramedic who lost her battle with leukemia.

Marcia Rosecky served the city of Brookfield Fire Department from May 5th, 1997 until December 1st, 2008 when a duty-related cancer put her on duty disability.

Rosecky was a member of the Brookfield Professional Fire Fighters Local 2051, International Association of Fire Fighters, and the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin.

Rosecky lost her courageous battle with myeloid leukemia on February 27th, 2016.

Services are as follows:

A visitation will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church at 2015 Parmenter Street in Middleton on Friday, March 4th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m.

A graveside service with firefighter honors will follow the memorial service at First Lutheran Cemetery at 4022 N. Pleasant View Road in Middleton.

A procession will begin south on Parmenter Street, continuing west on University Avenue, south to Pleasant View Road to First Lutheran Cemetery.

The northbound lanes of Pleasant View Road on the north side of Old Sauk Road will be closed from 3:30 p.m. until the graveside service has ended.
