MILWAUKEE -- Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Milwaukee's north side on Tuesday afternoon, March 8th.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. near 35th and Villard -- in a home in the area.

Police say a 36-year-old woman was shot during circumstances that are under investigation.

She was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating.
