Two men arrested after meth lab found in home in Village of Genoa City

GENOA CITY -- Walworth County Sheriff's officials say two men were arrested after a methamphetamine manufacturing operation was discovered in the Village of Genoa City.

The Walworth County Drug Enforcement Unit assisted Genoa City Police Department with an investigation on Sunday, March 13th.

During the course of the investigation, a methamphetamine manufacturing operation was discovered at 1201 County Highway H, in apartments 202 and 204.

A 19-year-old man was arrested on felony charges of possession of heroin and possession of methamphetamine waste.

A 35-year-old man was arrested on felony charges of manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine waste. This man has a prior conviction for possession of methamphetamine.

The DEA Clandestine Lab Team removed materials from the apartments.

The Bloomfield/Genoa City Fire & Rescue also assisted with the investigation.
