Juvenile in custody, accused of fleeing police, crashing stolen vehicle on 16th Street viaduct

MILWAUKEE -- Marquette University police say a juvenile was arrested after a stolen vehicle was involved in a crash on the 16th Street viaduct.

Police say around 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 17th, MUPD officers attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle near 17th and Wells.

The vehicle didn't stop -- continuing onto the 16th Street viaduct, where police say the vehicle crashed into two other vehicles.

An occupant of one of those vehicles had to be taken to the hospital.

The juvenile suspect was arrested, and police are seeking multiple felony charges against that suspect.

Police say the suspect, and the person who was injured are not affiliated with Marquette University.
