Serb Hall

MILWAUKEE — For many people, Good Friday also means a fish fry — and that means Serb Hall.

It’s the biggest fish fry of the year. They call it the state’s largest fish fry.

Friday, March 25th they are expected to serve more than 3,000 people.

“We’re going to have about 3,000 pounds of fish, 2,000 pounds of coleslaw, 900 pounds of french fries, 40 gallons of tarter sauce, 40 gallons of ketchup, 250 loaves of bread — and I could just go on some,” said Bob Milkovich, Serb Hall.

Serb Hall also has carry out and drive-thru service for people on the go.

I think Serb Hall’s fish fry is terrible.
Why do our local media outlets highlight them when talking about a fish fry when there are so many good places to get a great fish fry? How unoriginal (like going to the Pioneer Travel Plaza to talk about the road conditions when we get a half inch of snow).
