MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee firefighters doused a fire at a house near 74th and Kearney early Sunday, March 27th.

Officials say two people were inside the building, but they were able to get out before fire crews arrived and quickly contained the fire.

The Red Cross is now helping the two people who lived inside the home.

About $35,000 of damage was done to the house. Officials say the fire seems to be electrical in nature.

The home had working smoke detectors installed.
