Update: Power restored to roughly 1,300 We Energies customers in Franklin

FRANKLIN — Roughly 1,300 We Energies customers were temporarily without power because of an incident at Rawson and Forest Home Avenues in Franklin on Friday evening, April 15th.

Shortly after 6 p.m., We Energies notified FOX6 News that power has been restore to those affected.

The circumstances of the outage are under investigation.

    Just drove past this area and the utility pole is on fire. Lots of emergency and we we energies vehicles there, avoid the area if you can. No traffic lights and cops are not doing a great job directing traffic which is heavy now.
