We Energies celebrates Earth Day with event featuring endangered species

MILWAUKEE -- We Energies employees celebrated Earth Day by getting up close and personal with rare and endangered species. The event held Friday, April 22nd highlighted how We Energies protects the threatened animals.

From peregrine falcons and ospreys, to Karner blue butterflies and wood turtles -- folks learned how We Energies is protecting the threatened and endangered species.

According to We Energies, the event highlighted their partnership with Feather Wildlife Rehab/Education Center, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
