A rocky start to 2016 for Kohl's: 3.9 percent drop in sales from last year at this time

MENOMONEE FALLS -- The retail rut continues for Kohl's department store.

The Menomonee Falls-based retailer is kicking off 2016 with a rocky start -- reporting a 3.9 percent drop in sales from last year at this time.

We're told there's also a sharp drop in profits.

On Thursday, May 12th, the company's stock value dropped nine percent following this news.

Earlier this year, Kohl's announced plans to close 18 underperforming stores by the middle of June. One is in Brown Deer.
