Packers OTAs get underway without John Kuhn: Aaron Rodgers says "disappointed for sure"

GREEN BAY -- What will Packers fans do this season when they can't yell "Kuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhn?!" John Kuhn's absence could hurt the team on the field -- and it hurt the Packers' star player Tuesday, May 24th as OTAs got underway.

The familiar faces were back at Lambeau Field Tuesday -- Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson, Josh Sitton, Mike Daniels, Clay Matthews, Julius Peppers -- and no John Kuhn.

At this point, the veteran fullback remains unsigned.

"Disappointed for sure. I mean John is, he's a dear friend. It's tough when you lose guys like that -- or you show back up in the locker room and they're not there. And that's part of getting older in the league is, you look at the last three or four years, A.J. Hawk, James Jones and John are three of my closet friends as teammates over the years. You'd love to see guys like that be around because you know they can help us win," Rodgers said.

"I don't think you ever close the door -- but you guys follow our roster and right now we're working on these young players," Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said.

At this point the Packers have a second year fullback and an undrafted rookie manning the fullback position -- and no John Kuhn.
