Summer trolley service is back in downtown Milwaukee; just $1 to board

MILWAUKEE -- Downtown Milwaukee’s summer trolley service will begin connecting passengers to downtown Milwaukee's favorite hotspots beginning Thursday, June 2nd.

The Milwaukee Trolley Loop is presented by VISIT Milwaukee. It runs Thursdays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., June 2nd through September 3rd. The 30-stop route costs $1 to board. It serves East Town, Westown, Water Street, Old World Third Street and the Historic Third Ward. Both out-of-town guests and residents can board the “Hop ‘n Shop, Wine ‘n Dine” route to be on the fast track to museums, shops, festivals and other downtown events.



Attractions along the Milwaukee Trolley Loop route include the Milwaukee Public Market, Wisconsin Center, Milwaukee Public Museum, Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, Milwaukee Art Museum, Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin, Betty Brinn Children’s Museum, boat tours and the theater and hotel districts. The route also includes downtown’s many restaurants, shops, spas and salons.
