Vehicle taken in carjacking slams into school bus in Milwaukee; suspect fled on foot

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a crash involving a school bus and a vehicle that happened Wednesday afternoon, May 25th near 39th and Capitol.

Police say the driver of the vehicle involved fled the scene on foot after the crash.

The call for this incident came in shortly before 5:00 p.m.

We're told the vehicle that crashed into the school bus was taken in a carjacking.

There were no children on board the bus at the time of this incident.

No one was hurt.

Police are seeking a suspect.
