Police: Two hurt in separate shooting incidents in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating two shooting incidents that happened on Sunday afternoon/evening, May 29th.

The first happened around 2:30 p.m. near 1st and Meinecke.

Police say a 35-year-old man was walking in the area when someone began firing a gun, and the victim was struck.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

 

The second shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. near 4th and Chambers.

Police say the victim was involved in a confrontation with a known male suspect regarding a firearm. A struggle ensued, and the victim was shot.

The victim was taken to the hospital by a friend for treatment of a non-life threatening wound.

Police are seeking suspects in both of these cases.
