"Senior Walk:" Graduating seniors return to elementary school in hopes of inspiring young students

NEW BERLIN -- New Berlin High School students went back to their old stomping grounds on Wednesday, June 1st.

About 400 students graduating this year did a "senior walk" through all four of the School District of New Berlin's elementary schools.

Donning their caps and gowns, seniors from New Berlin Eisenhower and New Berlin West walked the halls.

The idea behind this "senior walk" is that elementary school students will be inspired and motivated to do well in school.

The seniors were excited for it too!

"It's one of the greatest experiences I've ever had as a senior. It's something I'll never forget -- having this opportunity. All of us can relate and it's really great to see our old teachers. And looking at the kids how they look up to us and how excited they are for us, it's something that's really great to see," Natalie Sims, New Berlin West High School senior said.

Graduation is Saturday, June 11th.
