Brewers fans get out of bed early for a scavenger hunt called "Hank and Seek!"

MILWAUKEE -- Brewers fans got out of bed early Friday morning, June 3rd for a game of "Hank and Seek." They wanted to get in on the hunt for thousands of  "Barking Bobblehank Bobbleheads."

"We saw one in the crack of the tree," said Deon Woodley.

The early rises were in luck because this was a surprise!

"I felt happy because I thought we might have missed it or something," said Woodley.

People told us they found out about the scavenger hunt by watching FOX6 WakeUp News.

"I got up, heard Nicole talking about the dogs at Veterans Park, and here I am with my puppy," said Pam Brown.

Others weren't so lucky so fast -- but they've got the right idea for where to look. Think like Hank...

"Garbage cans, trees, underneath benches, picnic tables, stuff like that. He's probably wherever the dogs nose would be on the ground," said Pam Wirth.

We know there were about 100 Hank bobbleheads at Veterans Park--  but we also know they have been found at Bradford Beach, Whitnall Park and South Shore Park because we searched the hashtag 'Hank and Seek' on Instagram and on Twitter.

There is a sticker attached to the box instructing those who find the bobbleheads to share a photo of their newly-acquired Barking Bobblehank on Instagram or Twitter by tagging @Brewers and using #HankandSeek to be eligible for exciting prizes, including pizza for a year, courtesy of Palermo’s Frozen Pizza, game tickets to the June 12th matchup with the New York Mets and a one-on-one meet and greet with Hank himself.

There is also a Palermo’s coupon included with each bobblehead.

"I like Brewers, I like Hank, I like Palermo's pizza," said Anthony Whorton.

The "Barking Bobblehank Bobbleheads" even had people running late for work.

"They're just awesome, Hank is so awesome," said Jocelyn Whorton.

If you didn't find one of the bobbleheads, not to worry. The Brewers are giving them away for free at their game on June 12th  against the New York Mets.
