Milwaukee's family water parks set to open during the week beginning June 11th

MILWAUKEE -- It's a sign that summer is right around the corner! Family water parks in Milwaukee are set to open daily beginning June 11th, and deep-well pools June 18th.

Currently, Cool Waters Family Aquatic Park and David F. Schulz Aquatic Center have been open weekends only. Both parks have waterslides, beach entry and interactive water toys.

Beginning Saturday, June 11th both water parks will go to a daily schedule.

      Deep-well pools throughout the park system will open June 18. Pools open daily from 12:30–4:30 p.m. will be Grobschmidt Park, 3751 W. College Ave.; Hales Corners Park, 5765 S. New Berlin Road; Holler Park, 5151 S. 6 St.; Jackson Park, 3500 W. Forest Home Ave.; McCarty Park, 8214 W. Cleveland Ave.; Pelican Cove at Kosciuszko Park, 2201 S. 7 St.; Sheridan Park, 4800 S. Lake Drive; and Washington Park, 1859 N. 40 St.

      The deep-well pool at Wilson Recreation, 4001 S. 20 St., will open weekdays for lap swim from 7–11 a.m. and for open swim from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Weekends the pool will be open from 12:30-4:30 p.m.
