Late inning runs help Brewers beat Phillies by a score of 6-3

PHILADELPHIA-- The Milwaukee Brewers return to their winning ways in Philadelphia on Saturday, June 4. They were able to defeat the Philadelphia Phillies by a score of 6 to 3. Reliever Will Smith (1-0) pitched the 7th and picked up the win after outfielder Domingo Santana hit a home run in the 8th inning that gave the Brewers the lead. The Brewers then tacked on 2 more runs in the 9th on a Scooter Gennett single.
Jonathan Villar hit a home run for the third straight game. For the game he had three hits and two RBI.
Jeremy Jeffress collected his 15th save. The Brewers have now won 11 of their last 13 games in Philadelphia.

The Brewers look to take the series on Sunday, June 5. First pitch is at 12:35 PM. Wily Peralta (3-6, 6.51 ERA) takes on Aaron Nola (4-4, 3.68)
