Attempted robbery leads to drug-related arrests in Sheboygan

SHEBOYGAN -- Several people were arrested after Sheboygan officials served two search warrants near N. 15th and John Court early Thursday, June 24th.

According to the Sheboygan Police Department, at approximately 7:25 a.m., they received a report of a possible attempted robbery at the Minit Mart located near N. 10th and Geele Avenue.

Officials say they eventually arrested a 35-year-old Sheboygan man for an attempted theft from a person. No weapon was displayed and no threats were made during the incident.

Authorities say the attempted robbery incident led to two search warrants near N. 15th and John Court. A total of two women and four men were arrested and jailed on charges ranging from probation holds to assorted drug charges.

Both of these incidents remain under investigation.

No other details have been released at this time.
