Fire damages apartment building near 43rd & Cold Spring in Greenfield, no one injured

GREENFIELD -- Greenfield firefighters on Tuesday morning, June 28th responded to the scene of an apartment fire on S. 43rd near Cold Spring. The call came in around 8:00 a.m.

Authorities says people driving by reported seeing flames coming out of a second story window. Firefighters were able to quickly put out the flames.

No one was home at the time of the fire -- and no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage estimates haven't been released.
