Historic Walker’s Point buildings to be restored into 115 apartments

MILWAUKEE — A block lined with empty industrial buildings in Walker’s Point will be turned into apartment buildings.

Minneapolis developer “Sherman Associates” plans to restore three former Pittsburgh Plate Glass manufacturing buildings on S. Barclay Street.

Construction is set to begin in about four months and is expected to be complete in early 2018.
