“…Adnan Syed, who was convicted for the murder of Asia McClain” Does Flop 6 even bother to do any sort or research on anything these days? Asia McClain would be very surprised to know she’s been murdered considering she’s part of the reason for the new trial, given that she’s an alibi witness for Adnan.

I couldn’t shake the feeling the entire series that he did not do it, but I cannot understand why it was so hard to prove his innocence. Also, I thought I remembered that the postscript to the series was that Gutierrez was not actually that incompetent and had a pretty good reputation in many ways. where she didn’t call witnesses, there was often a good reason.

unlike making a murderer, the cops in sayed’s case weren’t gunning for him. lazy looking for other suspects maybe, but perhaps that was enough.

incidentally – series 2 of Serial… terrible subject matter and not really interesting in any way.
