Test results in: Water deemed safe for drinking on Froedtert Hospital campus

MILWAUKEE -- Test results confirm on Tuesday, July 5th that water throughout the Center for Advanced Care and Froedtert Hospital campus has been and continues to be safe and of high quality, according to officials.

In a statement to FOX6 News, officials said the following:

"While the appearance of minerals in water is not uncommon in new buildings as systems are turned on, we took proactive conservative steps to assure the safety of our patients, visitors and staff."

Last Thursday, testing of the water at the facility showed an unusual level of minerals in the water supply at the Center for Advanced Care building.

In a statement on Thursday, a spokeswoman said, "Out of an abundance of caution, we are supplying bottled water for all patients, staff and visitors in the hospital and clinics building until further testing is completed."

Again, new test results show the water is safe and of high quality.
