COLUMBIA COUNTY — The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help in identifying the subject(s) who were involved in placing explosives near the Columbia County Jail on Monday, July 4th.

The sheriff’s office has released surveillance footage of the incident showing what appears to be a blue SUV pull up near a gate of the jail.

In the video, one person exits the vehicle carrying what looks to be a large firework/explosive.

Video shows the explosives going off shortly after the SUV pulls away.
