Looking for something fun to do this summer? Fun activities at Schlitz Audubon Center

MILWAUKEE -- Looking for something fun to do this summer? Brian Kramp gives us a look at summer activities at Schlitz Audubon Center.

Schlitz Audubon (website)

A visit to Schlitz Audubon is the perfect complement to the summer sun. Lake Michigan waves blow a cool breeze beyond the bluffs and the forest offers welcoming shade along our six miles of trails. The Center’s prairies provide a marvelous matinee of blossoming prairie plantings, where flowers, insects, and birds are too numerous to count. These native plants attract Monarchs, swallowtails, and fritillaries galore. At the ponds, you are likely to find a gathering of turtles, frogs, and toads sunning themselves. The Center’s summer hours expand to be open until 8:00pm, Monday – Thursday, through August 25.
