Madison-based American Family Insurance will sponsor Major League Soccer team in Atlanta

MADISON -- Madison-based American Family Insurance is getting into Major League Soccer.

The company signed a multi-year deal as uniform sponsor for Atlanta United FC.

It is American Family's first MLS jersey sponsorship.

The uniform will be unveiled later this year, and the expansion franchise will begin playing in 2017.
