Three Wisconsin schools to receive new Don’t Quit!™ Fitness Centers

MILWAUKEE -- Governor Scott Walker revealed on Friday, July 15th Wisconsin’s three winning schools receiving a Don’t Quit!™ Fitness Center.

The Lincoln Center of the Arts in Milwaukee, Washington Middle School in Kenosha, and Badger Elementary School in Appleton are Wisconsin’s most outstanding schools for demonstrating new and innovative ways to promote student physical activity and wellness.

Every Don’t Quit! Fitness Center is financed through public/private partnerships with companies like the Coca-Cola company, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation, and Nike, and does not rely on taxpayer dollars or state funding. Additionally, TuffStuff Fitness International provides all of the fitness equipment.

Ribbon cutting ceremonies will be held this fall to dedicate the new fitness centers.
