48-year-old Kenosha man killed in crash involving his motorcycle in Pleasant Prairie

PLEASANT PRAIRIE -- Pleasant Prairie police say a 48-year-old Kenosha man was killed in a crash involving his motorcycle that happened early on Tuesday morning, July 19th.

It happened just before 3:00 a.m. on 7th Avenue near 90th Street in Pleasant Prairie.

Police say the motorcycle went left of center, and then off the road -- striking a guard rail.

The operator, a 48-year-old Kenosha man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, a 39-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital in Kenosha and then transferred to Froedtert Hospital.

Police say neither the operator nor the passenger were wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The road was closed for several hours while investigators collected evidence at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
