Police: Three shot, injured in three separate shooting incidents in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating three separate shooting incidents that happened Wednesday night, July 20th and early Thursday morning, July 21st.

Shooting near 47th & Center



The first shooting occurred near 47th and Center around 8:15 a.m.

Police say a 53-year-old man was shot, and suffered non-life threatening injuries.The victim was seated in a vehicle in the area when another man attempted to rob him at gunpoint. There was a bit of a struggle between the suspect and the victim before the shooting, police say.

The victim was driven to St. Joseph's Hospital by a relative, and transferred to Froedtert Hospital.

Shooting near 41st & Fond du Lac



The second shooting occurred in the area of 41st and Fond du Lac around 1:40 a.m.

Police say two groups of people became involved in a dispute and at some point, suspects from both groups began to shoot at each other.

The 27 year-old male victim was nearby watching the dispute when he was struck with gunfire. He was conveyed to a local hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department. He is being treated for a non-life threatening gunshot injury and is expected to survive.

Around 2:40 a.m. police responded to a third shooting located in the area of North and Bremen.

The victim claims that he was walking in the area when a suspect riding in a vehicle fired gunshots at him. The 27-year-old man received a non-fatal gunshot injury. He was conveyed to a local hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department and is being treated for a non-life threatening injury.

Milwaukee police continue to search for suspects in each of the shootings.
