MILWAUKEE — If you noticed a black plume of smoke rising near Mitchell International Airport on Tuesday morning, July 26th — it was just emergency crews in training.

Around 9:30 a.m., the fire department at the airport began conducting training which included a simulated fire emergency. The exercise created a good deal of smoke. It was expected to wrap up around 11:00 a.m.

The tweets below show what it looked like at the time of the training session. Again — it was just training — nothing more.
