MILWAUKEE — U.S. Cellular is teaming up with the Brewers Community Foundation to donate a total of $20,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs across Wisconsin.

According to a press release, the funds will be used to support the Little Brewers, a little league baseball program run by Boys & Girls Clubs for nearly 1,000 children across Wisconsin. Hundreds of those Little Brewers players will be in the stands for a check presentation before Thursday afternoon’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Brewers Community Foundation is matching U.S. Cellular’s $10,000 donation to purchase uniforms for Little Brewers players. This is the ninth year U.S. Cellular has supported the Little Brewers Program.

“We are proud to collaborate with the Brewers Community Foundation in an effort to support such a fun and positive program for Wisconsin youth,” said John Heimsch, U.S. Cellular Director of Sales for Wisconsin. “U.S. Cellular is passionate about developing a strong connection with the communities we serve and we are honored to be able to support Boys & Girls Club locations throughout the state.”
