23-year-old man arrested without incident after shots fired call near Teutonia & Mill

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say a 23-year-old man is in custody on an outstanding warrant in connection with a shots fired call Monday evening, August 1st.

Officers on patrol near Teutonia and Mill around 7:30 p.m. heard shots fired, and as the officers moved towards the shots, they saw a man who, upon seeing officers, fled into a nearby factory.

For the next couple of hours, police engaged the man in verbal dialog -- working towards a peaceful resolution of this situation.

Shortly after midnight on August 2nd, the man was arrested without incident.

He was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.

The investigation is ongoing.
