Nicolet High School students welcomed to first day of school with red carpet celebration

GLENDALE -- At Nicolet High School, students walked the red carpet as they were welcomed back for a new school year Thursday, September 1st.

This is tradition at Nicolet.

The superintendent said it's all about starting the year off on a high note.

Administrators and teachers lined the red carpet to greet students before the bell rings to begin the new school year.

The red carpet celebration has been an annual tradition since 2008.
