Cited for multiple code violations, Kenosha hotel once again open for business

KENOSHA -- The Best Western Harborside Inn in Kenosha was shut down last week after failing an inspection. After some repairs and another inspection, there is good news to report.

Inspectors with Kenosha's fire and community development departments located multiple electrical code violations at the hotel on Friday.

FOX6 News was at the same hotel at the end of June when another instance involving multiple violations caused another closure.

Late Monday afternoon, September 12th, a city electrical inspector tells FOX6 News the hotel did pass inspection.

The hotel is now open for business.
