"She's gonna remember it:" Mother calls police on 3-year-old daughter after she unbuckled seat belt

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona -- An Arizona mother went to extremes to teach her three-year-old about the importance of wearing a seat belt.

Michelle Fortin's daughter unbuckled her seat belt during a ride home -- so Mom called the fuzz.

Scottsdale police arrived at the scene and took the opportunity to back up Fortin's message -- driving home the importance of seat belts.

"I guess it was an extreme choice on my part to call police, but I knew she was gonna remember it," Fortin said.

Apparently, it worked. The little girl has promised it won't happen again.
