Secure medication collection drop-box installed at Racine County Sheriff’s Patrol Station

RACINE COUNTY — The Racine County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday, September 20th the installation of a secure medication collection drop-box at the Sheriff’s Patrol Station, 14116 Washington Avenue in Sturtevant.

The RASO partnered with the Racine County Health Department to obtain the drop box and provide the public another accessible location to dispose of unwanted pharmaceuticals.

Officials say the public is welcome to come to the Patrol Station and drop off unwanted, unused or expired prescription drugs into the secure medication drop box. The drop box is located in the vestibule of the Patrol Station and can be accessed 24 hours, seven days per week.
