Maker Faire Milwaukee: A family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity & resourcefulness

MILWAUKEE -- One of the goals of Milwaukee's Maker Faire is to inspire young minds by connecting them to science and technology. Carl got a taste of that this morning at State Fair Park.

About Maker Faire Milwaukee (website)

Maker Faire Milwaukee is co-hosted by Betty Brinn Children’s Museum and Milwaukee Makerspace, in collaboration with MAKE magazine and sponsored by Brady Corporation.

Maker Faire Milwaukee will take place Saturday, September 24th from 9am to 6pm, and Sunday, September 25th, from 10am to 5pm.

Maker Faires are family-friendly events that welcome makers – tech enthusiasts, inventors, crafters, educators, tinkerers and hobbyists of all ages – to exhibit their work and share their knowledge and skills with other makers and with the community. Maker Faires also showcase the “maker movement,” a growing global community of do-it-yourselfers that is pushing the boundaries of creativity, product development and manufacturing through technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
