South Milwaukee police seek 2 suspects accused of taking garbage bags full of cigarettes from Speedway

SOUTH MILWAUKEE -- South Milwaukee police are seeking suspects responsible for a robbery at a gas station that happened on Tuesday, September 27th.

It happened around 3:45 a.m. at the Speedway gas station on S. Chicago Avenue near Drexel Boulevard.

Police responded to the gas station after receiving a "hold-up" alarm.

An investigation revealed two black males took three garbage bags filled with Newport cigarettes after threatening physical force.

No weapon was displayed or mentioned.

The gas station clerk was not hurt, and complied with the suspects' commands.

Police have released the following surveillance photos in the hopes of identifying the suspects.

They are described as being in their early to mid-20s.
