MILWAUKEE — Officials with the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office say a two-year-old child who was seriously hurt after becoming trapped between a bunk bed and a wall on September 21st in Milwaukee has passed away.

The child died at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin on Sunday, September 25th.

The two-year-old boy has been identified by the medical examiner as Kindell Jefferson Roberts. His death has been ruled an accident.

The incident happened on the morning of September 21st at a home near 101st and Jonen Street — around 10:45 a.m.

According to the medical examiner’s report, the child was found hanging between a wall and an upper bunk bed by a cousin.

The boy’s mother wasn’t home at the time, and the child was being cared for by an aunt.
