Oshkosh Corp. receives $409 million order from U.S. Army

Oshkosh Corp. officials said Thursday, September 29th that the U.S. Army has awarded the company a $409 million order to produce 1,661 medium tactical trucks and 31 trailers in the seventh year of a military contract awarded in 2009.

To date, Oshkosh has delivered more than 35,000 trucks and trailers under the $3 billion Family of Medium Tactical Vehicle contract.

The current generation supports the hauling of payloads ranging from 2.5 tons to 10 tons in support of combat missions, relief efforts, and logistics and supply.

Deliveries under the latest order will continue through July 2018.
