Love LEGOS? LEGO KidsFest, the largest LEGO touring event comes to Milwaukee Oct. 7-9

MILWAUKEE -- LEGO KidsFest, billed as the original and largest LEGO touring event, will welcome its 1,000,000th visitor at its upcoming show in Milwaukee running October 7th through 9th at the Wisconsin Center -- according to a statement from VISIT Milwaukee.

According to VISIT Milwaukee, since 2009, LEGO KidsFest has made 40 tour stops across the United States (and one in Canada), averaging more than 25,000 delighted children of all ages at each visit.

LEGO KidsFest includes over three acres and countless LEGO bricks for kids to enjoy.

“Our show has continued to grow and develop over the years with many new activities, like our NEXO Knights and Mixels build areas, and returning favorites such as The Big Brick Pile, Creation Nation, and so much more," Christopher White, event producer said in the statement.

According to VISIT Milwaukee, guests will be able to see and pose for selfies with life-size LEGO models of beloved characters including superheroes, breathtakingly realistic zoo animals, cartoon favorites, and intergalactic visitors.

LEGO models won’t be the only fun aspect of this historic visit.

DUPLO and LEGO Juniors areas will allow young builders to get in on the fun while digital interactive areas like WB Games’ LEGO Dimensions and LEGO City Studio allow older kids to immerse themselves in the virtual world with their favorite toy.

Current LEGO favorites like Ninjago, NEXO Knights and Friends will be represented in play areas, while the Challenge Zone, Art Gallery, and Monochrome Build areas will allow for creative fun.

Brick Battle Zone and Race Ramps will not only allow kids to create, but race against one another in friendly competition.

With over two dozen distinct play areas and 4.5 hours of time during each session, there will be plenty to see and enjoy.

The Milwaukee tour stop features Dan and Chris Steininger, two of only eight LEGO Master Builders in North America.

In addition to being responsible for designing many of the awe-inspiring LEGO models on display, this fun father and son duo will join children in the Master Builder Lab, to teach them how to build stronger, taller, and more creatively with LEGO bricks.

LEGO toys and licensed merchandise will be available for families looking to expand their LEGO collection with an exciting new set or leave with a small souvenir.
