Attempting to attract clowns: Jackson police ticket driver of vehicle playing "ice cream truck music" after complaints

JACKSON -- The nationwide "creepy clown" phenomenon has hit Jackson, Wisconsin.

According to Jackson police, shortly after midnight on Friday, October 7th, several people complained about a vehicle driving around playing "ice cream truck music."

Police tracked down the vehicle, and found it to be occupied by four West Bend men, between the ages of 19 and 21.

The men told police they were attempting to attract people dressed in clown masks.

The driver of the vehicle was ticketed for causing loud and unnecessary noise.
