Benefit held for Jeff Erickson, 16-year veteran of Caledonia Fire Department, diagnosed with leukemia

CALEDONIA -- A benefit was held Sunday, October 9th for Jeff Erickson-- a 16-year veteran of the Caledonia Fire Department who was recently diagnosed with leukemia.

The fundraiser at the Route 20 outhouse was filled with food, drinks and even live music.

All of the proceeds will go directly to Erickson, to help cover medical costs.

"I'm gonna stay strong. I stay strong as a person and I'm not gonna let this beat me. I'm keeping a positive attitude and I'm not gonna let this beat me. I'm gonna beat the cancer," Erickson said.
